What is an internal candidate? An internal candidate is someone currently employed by an EMHS Affiliate, seeking employment at that same affiliate. To qualify as an internal candidate, you must be employed by the company that "owns" the position you are interested in. Example: An Inland Hospital RN would like to apply for another position in a different department at Inland Hospital. This would qualify as an internal candidate. If this same RN wanted to apply for an internal only posting at EMMC, this would not qualify and would not be allowed. Applying for External positions is allowable for anyone. You would just be treated as an external candidate like everyone else.
